Located in Biddeford on Maine's southern coast, Buffleheads
Restaurant at
Hills Beach opened July 1st, 1994. Owned and operated by Ray and Karen
Wieczoreck, Buffleheads serves customers all year 'round in a
beautiful location on Hills Beach with great ocean views from every
window. Surrounded by Biddeford Pool, the Saco river, a great
marsh (part of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge), and the Atlantic
Ocean, it's hard to find a more picturesque setting for a wonderful
meal.
Lunch and dinner are served
daily.
In appropriate weather, the patio is open for dining with an awning to protect
diners from sun or a sprinkle. Daily specials with homemade soups and chowders are
offered at both meals with all items prepared fresh. In the
summer, our two gardens on the marsh enable us to prepare special entrees
using our own produce. Buffleheads is well known for its desserts,
having twice won the "Best Brownie" award at the Chocolate Lovers Fling
in Portland. While there is certainly a focus on fresh
seafood,
Buffleheads is proud of the variety and quality of their menu: offering
exceptional food at reasonable prices.
